If you follow the trail down from the trig point back to snake pass summit you pass a couple of surprise waterfalls.

Kinder Downfall is the waterfall where the River Kinder cascades off the Kinder Plateau. In summer, it's a small trickle, but it can become raging in wetter periods. It sometimes freezes in the winter and when running here in high wind it's not unusual to see the waterfall blowing back up the valley.

I found the hike great.but was boggy in loads of places..very slippery..narrow paths on some parts

There are amazing views from here down over to Glossop. Also worth a visit is nearby Lower Shelf Stones - there won't be anyone else there!
