An essential visit for those of us who travel through Montañas Vacías, and for other cycle tourists on the Camino del Cid and Ojos Negros.

This church, referred to here as the "Iglesia Modernista", with the title (patronage) "San SALVADOR" was not dedicated to one of the many people we venerate as blessed or saints and ask for their heavenly intercession with God. Rather, it is dedicated to the incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Savior.
