The Virgin of Pradas has many devotees in the area. Noteworthy is the procession that takes place in early spring between San Agustín and this hermitage. The castle belonged to the Escriche family for years. It has now been transferred to the San Agustín town council. Few remains of the castle remain, but the tower and the entrance arch are notable. We hope it will be rebuilt one day. Be sure to visit the bridge a little further down, as well as some of the surrounding abandoned villages.

It's better to only hike down this trail and follow alternate trails for the ascent. There's a trail almost parallel to it, much longer, but very comfortable for the ascent.

It is accessed from Collado del Lobo. It is one of the best-known peaks in the area. The final stretch is characterized by a large amount of loose white rock.
