The Sanctuary of Sant'Antonio de Gracia is definitely worth a visit. The Biar Sanctuary is an architectural gem that combines centuries of history and art in every corner. The wall and ceiling paintings are also very interesting and worth seeing.

The Gothic-Renaissance church of La Asunción is another attraction, with its ornate portal made of Levantine silverwork dating from 1519, which is unique in the Valencia region. Fountains, arches and portals tell stories of times gone by and bear witness to a rich cultural heritage.

One of the main attractions is the Castle of Biar, a majestic 12th-century fortress that stands prominently on a hill 700 metres above sea level. Declared a National Monument in 1931, the castle is a very good example of Muslim and Christian defensive architecture in Alicante. The interior vault, with its individual arches that converge in the centre, is still in its original state. From the castle's towers, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the old town and the surrounding mountains.

As a hidden gem of Alicante, Biar was included in the list of the five most beautiful towns in the province. The town draws attention with its impressive castle and charming narrow streets.
