Place for a walk on the banks of the Vinalopó River and very close to Bañeres de Mariola.

Traveling about 2.5 kilometers from the beginning of the route at the Information Center of the Natural Park, in Mas d'Ull de Canals, we will reach the vicinity of La Borrera or Molí de la Campana with a chimney that already from afar we could glimpse. The track continues parallel to the river, decorated with the riverside forest made up of poplars until reaching the Blanes Factory complex, also known as the Molí de Baix and the Molí de Dalt. . The first buildings, born as flour mills, date from the end of the 19th century. XVIII. From the beginning of the 19th century until 1942, its destiny was the paper industry.

This Moorish construction is surrounded by nature in the Sierra de Mariola. If you want to visit it, you have to leave the bike on the track, since the path is quite narrow. They are only a few meters on foot that are worth it.

The town of Banyeres de Mariola stands out for its suggestive castle of Almohad origin on top of a hill. In the 13th century, the fortress marked the border between the kingdoms of Castile and Aragon.

This is a picturesque cave formerly used as a refuge for the shepherds of the area. Today it can be reached by a path in good condition and it is only a couple of kilometers from the town of Banyeres de Mariola. It offers very nice views of the valley and the town.

The Molí L'Ombría area offers a lot of tranquility next to the Vinalopó river bed. It has a picnic area and a very picturesque path that allows you to reach the town of Banyeres. It is a nice place to rest or spend some time in nature.
