Arenfels Castle, formerly also called Arienfels Castle, is a castle complex above Bad Hönningen in Rhineland-Palatinate, which dates back to a medieval castle from the 13th century. The castle acquired its present external appearance between 1849 and 1855, during which time it was extensively remodeled in the Neo-Gothic style under the direction of Cologne Cathedral architect Ernst Friedrich Zwirner. Due to its 365 windows, 52 doors, and 12 towers, it was nicknamed "Castle of the Year."

Even though the ⛪️church is often closed... the 🎨🖌 overall view below the Hammerstein ruins is a beautiful panorama and photo opportunity 🎨🖌📸👍🏻, nestled in the vineyards 💚🍇. The church building in Oberhammerstein, a district of the municipality of Hammerstein in Rhineland-Palatinate, which belongs to the Neuwied district, is a listed building.

A picture frame in the middle of the Rhine in Andernach. In the picture, the Alte Krahnen (crane) with the awe-inspiring Rhine in the background. Our bikes 🚲 🚲 are framed, which have brought us here so far 🚩 in 13 stages. A beautiful photo at that spot is simply a highlight. We had to stop there. ✔️🔝
