This route forms part of the Ciudad Real–Poblete Greenway and easily connects with the Alarcos Trail, leading to the Archaeological Park and the Hermitage of Alarcos. You can start in Poblete, near the old railway line that has been converted into a greenway. From there, you can connect with the trail to Alarcos following marked paths and easy tracks. Depending on the specific section and combination, the Poblete → Alarcos route is usually between 8 and 12 km long, suitable for walking or cycling.

The Battle of Alarcos Route is a fascinating experience that combines history and technology. This route allows visitors to explore the historic site of the battle that took place on July 19, 1195, where the Almohad troops of Al-Mansur defeated the Christian troops commanded by the Castilian king Alfonso VIII.

The El Arzollar Mine-Spring is located near Poblete. This area is known for its volcanic formations, specifically the El Arzollar volcano, which is part of the Campo de Calatrava volcanoes. El Arzollar is located approximately 3 km west of Ciudad Real, and some of its materials are mined at the Las Urracas quarry. The region is also rich in minerals such as calcite, copper, magnetite, and leucite.

In Poblete there is a very familiar place called 'Parque El Pilar'. It is a playground to go with the little ones where you will find swings, a nice fountain and it has toilets.
