Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a good place to meet, have a drink and very close to the most central and visitable places.

Small but nice park. Right in front we can find an old Asadaor, already closed due to the retirement of the owners, but with luck the very nice lady lets you in to see the garden, formerly a terrace with tables, it is worth it.

This point corresponds to: Church of Our Lady of the Assumption (Caracuel Cva) the Hermitage is on C/Santo Cristo From the 18th century. Typical Cistercian building with Mudejar influences. It consists of a single nave, with a rectangular floor plan, covered with a gabled roof. The apse is pentagonal, being equipped with buttresses made of bricks and quartzite blocks. On the front part it has a single-body belfry, with a double semicircular arch and a bell in one of them.

The castle is privately owned and, given its ruinous situation, with the dangers that its visit entails, its access is prohibited without permission from the property. The ruins of the castle are accessed by a path that leaves behind the Hermitage of Santo Cristo de Caracuel de Calatrava. The path is made of narrow stone steps, just when it ends, next to a tree, turn left to go up the top of the mountain to the castle.

Hermitage that is located in the highest part of the town called Caracuel de Calatrava and that forms one of the most beautiful entities in the town, with many years on its walls.
