Visiting the moose farm is subject to a fee, but the hike around the fence is free. With a bit of luck, you might see moose here as well. Please be considerate of the animals. Be careful with dogs and keep them away from the fence. The moose can react aggressively toward dogs.

Lovely little café/bistro with delicious homemade cakes and savory snacks. Highly recommended!

A very original approach to the Moose Ranch. In general, such "animal parks" are rather questionable in my opinion. We even saw the moose at the back fence on our hike – and it was a rather uneasy feeling…

Being so close to the moose is very impressive, even if most of them were still young when they were fed. We then walked the entire path around the enclosure and didn't see any more moose - but that was what the staff had predicted, they usually lie in the undergrowth and are not visible. It was still a wonderful experience.

This small village of barely 3,000 inhabitants in the county of Västra Götaland has a pretty church, a few menhirs and a supermarket. You will find something to eat here.
