Fine gravel strip that is easily accessible for every cyclist in dry weather. In heavy rain, tires with a bit more tread are definitely recommended. Can be quite wet if it has rained for a day.

This border church (Weerterbos - Heugterbroekdijk) is located in the Weerterbos between Weert and Budel. The Grenskerk was built about 300 years ago. When the Catholic faith came under pressure in 1629 after the conquest of Den Bosch (by Frederik Hendrik of the States of Holland via the Spanish rulers) and was finally banned entirely in 1649, Catholics often had to move to hidden churches. This border church was used until 1682. In 1981, 300 years later, it was handed over to the Limburg Landscape Foundation as a monument.
