About 300 meters before reaching the hermitage along the track from Òrrius, on the left, dry stone walls are preserved, the remains of a shelter used by Republican militiamen during the Civil War. It's not signposted, but it's visible if you get off your bike and explore a bit. The surroundings are very peaceful and steeped in history: the hermitage was also used as a temporary shelter.

I didn't have time to see the church because the weather was bad, but the restaurant smelled good 🤤

An ideal place with wonderful views of the plain of Vic, the Turó de l'Home, the ravines of the valley below, and the distant peaks of the Pyrenees. I have enjoyed this place very much and it is highly recommended.

The building is Romanesque in style, although it has undergone modifications over the centuries. The main structure has a single nave and a semicircular apse. Its façade features a semicircular arch door and a small bell tower, typical elements of the Romanesque rural churches in the region.

The church of Sant Andreu de Far has its origins in medieval times, with documented mentions dating back to the 11th century. Originally, it served as a parish church for the small community that lived in the surrounding area.
