Seeing that, finally, he could meet the required terms, the architect broke the pact with the devil when the last loaded car was about to arrive, because he did not want to lose his soul; This fact provoked the consequent anger of the mocked demon who decided to petrify the final shipment, so that the Cathedral would never be finished. Although no evidence has remained, it is said that one of the cathedral towers was shorter than its twin. Another version says that the building was even missing a tower that was initially planned.
