Defensive system of the city from Roman to Arab times and visible from the bike lane. The best preserved sections are those close to the Macarena Basilica, around the Reales Alcázares- callejón del agua and right in the passage that leads to the Plaza del Cabildo. The classic slope of ascent to the Cuesta de la Media Fanega among Seville cyclists. It is located on the old national road N-630, thanks to which the traffic is scarce. The ascent begins next to the recreational area, after the descent from Las Baterías, and ends at Venta del Alto.

What to see when you are in Guillena - the most important monuments: Parroquia de Ntra. Sra. de la Granada, Plaza de España, Plaza de Toros, Palacio de Parladé. Guillena is part of the Camino de Santiago (Vía de la Plata between Seville and Astorga).

The municipality known above all for its pyrite mines (exploited since ancient times by the Romans) temporarily closed after one of the biggest environmental disasters in Europe - when in 1998 the Aznalcóllar mining dam burst and caused a polluting spill in this area.

The Rodríguez de la Borbolla Bridge, popularly known as the Old Bridge. Inaugurated in 1923, it was the first bridge between La Algaba and the capital and replaced the old boat crossing.
