The Hüttenteich in Berthelsdorf is part of the World Heritage Site "Mining Region Erzgebirge / Krušnohoří.

Beschert Glück Mine Information: The Beschert Glück Mine largely occupies the northern part of the Brander district. It was first mined in 1697. The mine's engine house, built in 1786, is a solid structure. During the mine's final years of operation, a headframe extended above the building.

Former Brand-Erbisdorf Railway Station. Information: Opened on July 15, 1890, it was an important junction on the Berthelsdorf-Großhartmannsdorf railway line and the Brand-Erbisdorf-Langenau line. With the political changes in East Germany in 1989/90, there was a significant decline in passenger traffic. On June 1, 1997, the remaining passenger service between Freiberg (Saxony) and Langenau (Saxony) via Brand-Erbisdorf was discontinued. The station building, goods shed, signal box, and track maintenance building are still preserved at the Brand-Erbisdorf station site on Bahnhofstraße (Station Street).
