The Puente Romano in Granada, also known as the Puente del Genil, is a historic bridge in the city of Granada, Spain. Although its name suggests that it is a Roman construction, it was actually built in the 12th century. It spans the River Genil, near its confluence with the River Darro. It is a bridge with five caisson arches, each with a span of seven metres, and is made of stone and bricks. It was originally built with stones from La Malahá. It is now a pedestrian bridge and has been a protected heritage site within the Historic Garden of the Paseos del Genil since 2007.

Puerta Real is a historic area in the heart of Granada, Spain. It includes Calle Recogidas, Calle Reyes Católicos and Carrera de la Virgen. The name "Puerta Real" (Royal Gate) comes from the visit of King Philip IV on 8 April 1624. The area became the central square of Granada's social life in the 16th century. Puerta Real has undergone many changes in its history. Until the 19th century, the Darro River flowed through it, but it was closed off for hygienic reasons. The area was decorated with the coat of arms of the Catholic Monarchs in 1515 and later with national symbols to commemorate the end of Moorish rule in the Iberian Peninsula in 1610. Today, Puerta Real is a bustling area with shops, cafes and cultural attractions. It is a great place to explore and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Granada.

The Iglesia de San Antón is a beautiful church located in the heart of Granada, at the intersection of Calle Recogidas and Calle San Antón. The church was founded by the Franciscan Tertiaries in 1534 and later expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. The building has impressive Baroque architecture, including two stone portals made by Luis de Arévalo and a magnificent dome designed by Alfonso Castillo. Inside, you will find a Latin cross plan with ten side altars and a large main altar. The church also houses an impressive 18th-century organ and various works of art, including paintings and sculptures. (Boring outside, great inside)

The Ermita del Cristo de las Cañas is a private hermitage located in the heart of the Cortijo de las Cañas, on the road to Santa Fe. The building, located in Belicena, is surrounded by two imposing chestnut trees that are over 100 years old. The hermitage is dedicated to the Cristo de las Cañas and is particularly famous for the tradition that on Good Friday at 3:00 pm the hermitage is opened to the public and visitors can make their three wishes, which, according to tradition, are granted by the Cristo. The hermitage was originally built in the 17th century and has a rich history, including a special dispensation granted by the Archbishop of Granada in 1781. The hermitage is also used for religious gatherings and processions, especially in times of drought, when the residents of Belicena bring the image of their patron saint, San Marcos, to the hermitage to pray for rain.
