The Church of Santiago dates back to the 12th century, the Puerta del Perdón (Door of Forgiveness), and is located next to the Cathedral of Santiago. They are the only ones that can grant the Jubilee, in this case it will be due to illness or accident that prevents you from continuing on to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

The Church of Santa María in Cacabelos is a historic church along the Camino de Santiago, originally consecrated in 1108. Although only the Romanesque choir from that period remains, the church was largely rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the 16th century and later enhanced with Baroque elements. It is a sober construction typical of the Romanesque style and, of course, rich in the iconography of its capitals.

The Church of the Assumption of Cacabelos, commonly known as the Church of Saint Mary, is located in the municipality of Cacabelos, in the Bierzo region. This church has a rich history and is a prominent point on the Camino de Santiago.

It was consecrated in 1108 by Bishop Diego Gelmírez. Only the Romanesque apse remains of the original church. Reconstruction in the 16th century: Most of the current building was rebuilt in the Renaissance and Baroque styles.
