Super nice view and in good weather even to the neighboring islands

There is a branch off the main path at the westernmost tip that leads down to the sea on the other side. Not as well secured as the main path, but not dangerous. Here you can usually enjoy your hiking break in peace and without Insta hotspotters!

Pirate Bay is uniquely beautiful. Locals spend their free time in the little houses here and even invited us for a glass of wine. But as we still had a steep walk back ahead of us, we declined. But it was a very nice gesture. You can find lovely spots here to have a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we couldn't swim because the water was thrashing wildly into the bay.

The real highlight is the path itself! Great environment, incredibly beautiful colors!!!🤩

Depending on the weather situation, slightly warmer clothing is recommended on cloudy and windy days (especially if you are standing in the cloud yourself). Tip: The Spanish weather service has a forecast of the upper cloud limit, so that you can roughly estimate 1-2 days in advance whether you are in or above the clouds 😀 The Roque de los Muchachos is otherwise the highest elevation on La Palma (2426m above sea level ).

On a day with visibility you will see the nearby islands. Don't miss the sunset, the colors are different here. The temperature changes constantly, don't forget your windbreak
