After breakfast, it closes for a while for cleaning. Fill up your water bottle before heading up, as it's a scarce resource up there.

Cabin used in August 2025. There are no mattresses, but a wooden structure on which to place your own sleeping mats or mattresses. Sleeps approximately 8-10. Very good condition and well maintained. A stream flows about 20 meters away, and there is also a source (pipe) of drinking water (indicated on the map) 150 meters away. Bivouacs are also possible nearby.

A fairly difficult hike when you're not trained (which was my case) but not impossible if you take your time and go at your own pace. On the other hand, it's a very beautiful hike! The landscapes are magnificent. There are two parking lots, the Masousa parking lot and another higher up which saves 45 minutes, but the road is very bumpy.

The Belagua refuge is a symbol of mountaineering in Navarre, its location makes it the ideal starting point for any adventure. It is open all year round and has 54 beds. It also offers food service and a bar.

The refuge is located at an altitude of 1,670 meters on a rocky peak. It promises an exceptional 360° panorama of the many peaks. The beds are distributed in rooms ranging from 2 to 4 beds. The refuge also offers good hot meals in the evening and breakfast before setting off on the trails.

We spontaneously got a place in the hut during our visit in July 2024. Nice people, very good food, well-kept rooms.

Be careful, there are a lot of mice in the hut. Bring food to safety!
