The refuge is located at an altitude of 1,670 meters on a rocky peak. It promises an exceptional 360° panorama of the many peaks.
The beds are distributed in rooms ranging from 2 to 4 beds. The refuge also offers good hot meals in the evening and breakfast before setting off on the trails.

Mountain hut on GR10 and depending on the variant also HRP. Even if the hut is located above the ski resort of Arette-la-Pierre-St-Martin, which is really ugly in summer, the hut itself is nice and cozy and exudes real mountain hut charm (including grass-munching sheep right in front of the doorstep :D). But beware, the hut is quite small. Reserve in high season.
Away from the unsightly ski resort, there is a beautiful view of the surrounding karst landscape.

But had already booked something else. Very nice stone formations in the area around the hut, which are a bit reminiscent of the Pancake Rocks in New Zealand. Away from the not exactly beautiful ski resort. In the village there is a small shop with a thin selection of groceries. (It was enough for bacon eggs.)
