Beautiful village in the Aravis region. Many shops and magnificent scenery.

As you climb the challenging trail to the top of Tête du Danay, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once you reach the top, you’ll come across the iconic Croix du Danay, an imposing cross that marks the highest point in the region. From this vantage point, you can admire the picturesque villages, winding rivers and lush forests that characterize the landscape.

Magnificent Alpine village, and ideal starting point for hiking to discover the Bornes massif and the Aravis chain. Stroll the small streets and admire the century-old chalets, or sit down in a restaurant to taste the region's specialties.

Accessible in all seasons, winter snowshoeing is truly a superb outing (the snowshoe markings are well done, find out about the opening of the trail at the tourist office where there is also a free map of the snowshoe trails marked).

The beautiful mountain village has about 2000 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of about 1300m.

Le Grand-Bornand is an active sports town. In addition to its ski resort, it regularly hosts stages of the Tour de France. Charming and friendly, it is ideal for a nice break.

Named after the Borne River which crosses it, the town of Grand-Bornand is a charming and authentic Alpine town, located to the west of the Aravis mountains. The town offers excellent skiing opportunities in the winter and offers great mountain biking and hiking trails in the summer. In addition, it is relatively close to the large city of Annecy and the ski resort of La Clusaz.

La Tête du Danay is a peak in the Aravis range, rising 1,731 meters above the ski resort of La Clusaz. The summit is marked by a huge metal cross, you certainly won't be able to miss it!
