Thônes is a charming village, with beautiful little shopping streets. Its privileged location has allowed it to develop over the centuries. Today, it welcomes nature lovers in summer and winter.

At the Plan Bois pass, the views are as unreally beautiful as the climb was difficult. We can say that this pass is worth it!

From Bouchet-Mont-Charvin, initially road then track, long climb steepening at the end. The magnificent view is worth it!

A gravel route less travelled that starts from the village of le Marais. With some pitches above 10% in the first few kilometres, there’s some respite about half way, as the climb flattens. The gradient becomes more challenging in the last couple of kilometres, with the final kilometre being steep and loose. Enjoy the solitude and the view from the col!

Wonderful panorama, Montagne de Bauges, the Aravis chain, La Tournette and, with reasonably good visibility, the Mont-Blanc Massif!
