Ice house built by the Lefébure family in the 19th century In the depths of the tower, ice was piled up in winter. In summer, as needed, it was then taken. The tower, built above this ice pit, served to protect from the heat and the sun. A thick roof, now destroyed, topped it all. It is the only ice house in the Haut-Rhin, with that of the Reinach family in Hirtzbach.

This beautiful neo-Romanesque style church surprises inside by its size and the beautiful windows depicting scenes from the life of St. Odile. The church was built around 1912 and was located on the front line during World War I while the town was a base for the Bavarian Landjäger. According to the records of the local resident Haemmerle (war diary), the church was used several times as a military hospital.
