The Pont de la Hardt, also called Pont de la Hardt Erich Dilger-Alain Foechterlé (name of the two mayors who worked on its creation) marks the border between France and Germany. It has one lane reserved for pedestrians and cyclists, and another for vehicles, in alternating traffic.

Very good view of the Old Rhine from the bridge. When there is not too much traffic it is fun to enjoy the view.

Unfortunately, there are glass splinters on the side strips of the bicycle, so you have to be very careful. Otherwise, this border crossing to France is very easy to drive

The Hartheimer Baggersee is the baggersee of my youth. Here we always met in the clique on weekends to chill and bathe. The water is reminiscent of the South Seas, turquoise, clear and very clean. A swim stop is definitely worthwhile here if you are on the Rhine cycle path.
