If you want to swing while hiking, this is a great place to do it. Swing hiking over the Saale...that's only possible here. It was just a small, fun experience...on the way from Jena to Rudolstadt. We'll be back and will do a longer loop and then definitely go over the swing bridge again 🫶 swing hiking🥰😄👍🥾🥾

The brewery was founded in 1892 by the Gütermann family. Since 1918 it has been the only brewery in Saalfeld. From 1925 to 1948 the brewery was a joint-stock company, the majority owner of which was the Riebeck Group. In the 1970s and 1980s the Pörzbrauerei Rudolstadt, the Remda brewery and the Feengrotten were part of the Saalfeld brewery. Since 1991 the Bürgerliches Brauhaus has been privately owned. A 23% share is owned by Kulmbacher Brauerei AG.[1] Until the early 1990s the brewery advertised with the slogan "Generally Preferred" and with the image of the Hoher Schwarm ruins. Since then, the logo has shown the four city gates of Saalfeld.
