A small restaurant with very friendly owners: the fish dishes are highly recommended. The owners have their own fish ponds from which they catch char and trout.

A lovely place to relax right on the Saale River. However, the weir makes a very loud noise. If you want to have a conversation, you'll want to find another spot.

Saalepromenade Ziegenrück, with many benches and an ice cream parlor that also rents pedal boats for a round of pedal boating on the Saale.

Spring and shelter. There's also a small explanatory panel explaining the spring's former significance.

The hiking trail here runs very close to the reservoir. On one side, the steep shoreline offers repeated beautiful views, and on the other, interesting slate formations appear time and again. After the Droschkaublick viewpoint, a rather steep section follows.

The rest area is also frequently used by campers because it's located right next to the road. From here, you also have a great view of the Saale Viaduct.
