The GR9 climbs west from Buis through numerous olive groves. The olive tree is a magical tree that reflects the light. There are many private roads; it's better to follow the GR or local roads.

The small, picturesque village of Sainte-Jalle welcomes visitors coming from the Col d'Ey with this pretty avenue of plane trees. A lovely, shady place to linger. There are 2 restaurants, a small supermarket and a campsite, as well as a chateau and a pretty little old town.

The chapel has a phenomenal location with wonderful views; the path there is easy to walk; an absolute recommendation.

The Col de Milmandre offers a breathtaking view of the Baronnies. Opposite, the Linceuil mountain is a spot known to paragliders. It is not uncommon to see a few sails in the sky.

Buis-les-Baronnies is a pleasant little town in the Drôme Provençale, located in the Regional Natural Park of Baronnies Provençales. It is surrounded by meadows, lavender fields and olive groves. In the distance, Mont Ventoux stands proudly in the landscape. Activities: numerous hikes from Buis, mountain bike circuits, climbing school, swimming, equestrian centres. Visits: Museum of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Oil mill of the communal well, Convent of the Ursulines (exhibitions of artists), many artists' studios.
