The Child and the Bird and The Brambles of Liberty, two sculptures by the artist José Torres, revolutionary and anti-Franco sculptor, based in Normandy since the 1980s.

If you are looking for a breathtaking view of the Seine valley, do not miss the panorama of Mont Ager de Bonsecours. This viewpoint offers you a 360° view of the surrounding landscape, from the city of Rouen to the hills of Belbeuf. You can get there by taking the GR®2, a long-distance hiking trail along the Seine. Along the way, you will also discover other magnificent sites, such as the basilica and the monument of Joan of Arc at Bonsecours. This hike is for experienced walkers as it features steep inclines and uneven terrain. You will be rewarded with stunning vistas that will make you feel like you are on top of the world.

This impressive monument was built in the 19th century and honors the life and martyrdom of Joan of Arc, the French heroine who led the army against the English during the Hundred Years' War. From the esplanade where the monument is located, you can admire the breathtaking view of the Seine valley and the city of Rouen. You can also discover the Notre-Dame de Bonsecours basilica, a neo-Gothic church adjacent to the monument. The monument is open to the public and free.

The Notre-Dame de Bonsecours basilica was built between 1840 and 1844 and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Help of Christians. Admire the ornate architecture, stained glass windows, and the monument to Joan of Arc that sits in front of the basilica. The basilica also offers a panoramic view of the Seine and the city of Rouen.

In 1868 it was decided to erect a monument to the glory of the heroine. The space is lacking in Rouen, it is being built at Bonsecours. The 2-meter statue is placed in the main Renaissance-style aedicula, the dome is surmounted by a gilded statue of Saint Michael, the two small buildings on either side housing statues of Saint Margaret and Saint Catherine.
