The Gabie Bridge spans the Vienne River between Verneuil-sur-Vienne and Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe. Built in the 19th century from granite, it replaced an ancient Gallo-Roman bridge located a few hundred meters downstream. The site, classified as a natural area of ecological interest, offers beautiful access to the river for a peaceful break.

Pretty gravelled path at the exit of Peyrilhac, which runs along the Mothe river then a small inaccessible pond.

Church of Saint-Martin-de-Jussac, from the 12th and 15th centuries, recently restored. It is listed in full in the inventory of Historic Monuments. Right next door, the former presbytery has been converted into a gîte, labeled "Gîte de France".

At the entrance to the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, Saint-Junien is the second largest town in the Haute Vienne department. On the edge of Vienne, the city, classified as a City of Character, has many assets including an imposing Romanesque collegiate church and a tradition of craftsmanship in glove making and tanning. The Corot site, on the edge of the Glane, is particularly green and pleasant.
