A pilgrim's stop on the Way of St. James. The church contains relics of St. Leonard, the patron saint of prisoners. Pilgrimages to this site have been held since the 11th century; even Richard the Lionheart made a pilgrimage here. A stamp for the pilgrim's passport is available in the church. This small pond is actually artificial and has been dammed. In recent years the dam has had to be repaired and the costs of these repairs have been high enough to cause the local council to question whether the pond and dam can be retained. I think we can all agree that we're glad they kept it.

This medieval bridge dates from 1262. From its arches, there is a magnificent view of the city's other medieval bridge and the viaduct.

It has very beautiful paths that are a little wet these days. Too bad that some trails are no longer accessible because the vegetation has invaded them.
