What's a conch? This word does not seem to be French, and it seems that it is only used in Charente Maritime while everywhere else we speak of cove, cove or beach. Roman Catholic church from the 10th century and a neo-Gothic bell tower built in 1870. In the bell tower is a small bell dating from 1788 classified as historical objects since 1911 for having sounded the revolt in 1789. It is part of the deanery of Marennes-Oléron and of the pastoral sector of the Arvert peninsula.
