From the road to Saint-Aubin, the view of the Puy de Dôme is simply majestic. This famous volcano, the highest point of the Puys chain, dominates the landscape with its imposing silhouette. The road winds through fields and meadows, offering new perspectives on the volcano and its green surroundings at each turn.

Pretty road and nice climb: the first three km are almost 8% on average.

Aydat Lake is located at an altitude of 850 meters. It is the largest natural lake in Auvergne. It was born from the lava flow from two wells. Today, it is a place where several nautical activities can be practiced. I highly recommend a quick stop at the terrace of the La Cocotte Bleue restaurant. The view and the welcome are simply perfect!
