Vic-le-Comte is recognized as a “small town of character”. The former capital of the County of Auvergne has retained a remarkable heritage from its past. Walk among the medieval residences and admire its half-timbered houses.

Billom is a medieval village in the Auvergne region. It is located in the Limagne plain. It is on the old Roman road from Lyon to Bordeaux.

The green corridor on the south bank of the Auzon between Cendre and Cournon allows you to escape from the city.

The remains of the west gate of the oppidum date from the Gallo-Roman era since it is a masonry structure.

Collégiale Saint-Cerneuf is the impressive building constituting the parish church of Billom. In the medieval quarter, of which it is the most important monument, its turret rises above the roofs of the houses.

Great walk with several interesting building finds from the brook meadow undergrowth. Easy to do but with a bit of resistance.
