Here is the route for the ascent of the Col des Saisies starting from Flumet, with the possibility of starting from even lower down in Ugine for a "full" version.

A very nice road for cycling and only moderate traffic. It's busy at the top, even in summer. They want to offer families entertainment and exercise. Not my style at all—but the people in the valleys can earn their living from it.

Beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Some of the roads are newly paved, so the ride up and down is fun.

From Flumet, this famous Savoie pass remains accessible, with 14.6 kilometers at an average gradient of 5.5%. Its irregularity offers some respite, but also very steep slopes that can exceed 18%.

A hill with a lot of traffic, better on roads that run parallel.

Charmless pass between the ski slopes. The end of the road above Hauteluce offers beautiful views towards Arêches.
