A very different route from the eastern slope: numerous hairpin bends, a steep road with poor tarmac, mostly in the forest. Perhaps more fun on the descent: a technical slalom that shakes up both bike and cyclist.

This 15.5-kilometer, 7.6% variation of the Col de l'Arpettaz is enhanced by the magnificent landscapes of the Aravis mountains. The climb is truly very pleasant.

A demanding climb with no rest time and steeper sections. The road is damaged but accessible for the climb, prefer the descent by the other road. Most of the ascent is in the woods with plenty of shade and the occasional view of Mont Charvin. At the top, enjoy eating or having a drink at the Refuge de l'Arpet' with a view of Mont Blanc!

This side of the Col de la Forclaz is well worth it. The climb to Montmin is the toughest along the lakeshore.

A short and demanding pass but with slopes still accessible to mountain beginners.

A lovely long climb. Road surface is not great on this constantly winding road, but it is fine. Many pieces are nicely sheltered. The slope percentage is around 8 percent all the time, so you can get into a good rhythm. Super low traffic.

Very nice long pass winding through the forest then the mountain pastures. Narrow road with often bad coating, but accessible to all types of bikes. Few cars, calm... To do!
