Les Chapieux is a locality of France located in Savoie, in the commune of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Surrounded by the Beaufortain and Mont-Blanc massifs, it is located at the mouth of the Vallée des Glaciers, upstream from that of Les Chapieux, at the foot of the Cormet de Roselend. It includes a few private secondary dwellings, a refuge, a camping area, a holiday center, a few bars and restaurants, a tourist information center as well as a large parking lot which serves as a starting point for the shuttle serving the Ville des Glaciers. my video of the half-tour of Mont Blanc from Courmayeur https://youtu.be/vG8z5mtBbzI

Ideal place to spend the night, there is enough space to pitch several tents. As a bonus, the Raja stream is right next door to cool off after a good day of walking.
