The Rifugio Gian Federico Benevolo is a historic mountain refuge located at 2,287 meters, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. An ideal starting point for hikes and climbs, it offers a welcoming atmosphere and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.

Rif. Ciriè is in a charming location. The owners are friendly and the prices are still reasonable. Highly recommended!

The refuge can be reached by mountain bike, even by those less experienced, with a splendid view.

The refuge is located at the end of Pian della Mussa, easily reached on foot on a paved road in a couple of minutes from the last parking lot before the traffic ban. Those willing to hike another hour, along a trail that's steep in places, can reach the beautiful Piano Ciamarella, and it's also possible to take a circular hike.

You can stay overnight and eat at this refuge. It's small and fills up quickly, so make sure to book ahead if you plan to stay overnight. A beautiful place to stay.
