Beautiful hotel.

A huge bust on the beach overlooking the sea/English Channel.

The hotel is architecturally something special.

The iconic wooden boardwalk, built in 1923, stretches along the beach. The beach cabins are named after famous stars of American cinema, a reference to the annual film festival.

2km yellow sand

These "boards" form a long walkway from which you can contemplate the beach, the bright colors of the parasols and the changing colors of the sea and the sky. The seafront is punctuated by a succession of cabin doors separated by small lines of openwork concrete. It’s also a must-see place on the Côte Fleurie!

The Normandy hotel is truly architecturally remarkable! It was the first of the large palace hotels in the city of Deauville, followed in 1913 by its neighbor the Hôtel Royal Barrière. A year after its opening, financed by her English lover Boy Capel, Coco Chanel set up her Chanel hat boutique within the hotel grounds. The hotel is completely renovated in 2015-2016

This monumental work by Louis Derbré (1925-2011), an extraordinary clay and bronze sculptor, was eagerly awaited, as it continued the project of an artistic promenade linking Les Planches to Les Franciscaines. With its gaze turned toward the sea and the horizon, Le Prophète made a remarkable arrival in Deauville on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the seaside garden.
