The power plant's chimney plays hide-and-seek between the city's buildings.

This lake is otherwise called the Mabille valley lake. It is an artificial lake. Access to the leisure center is free. The activities offered here are: picnic on the bank, play areas for the youngest, fishing.

The “Blue Hole” brings together three old granite quarries, at a place called “La Garenne”, on the road to Donges. They were formerly located on the banks of the Loire. They filled naturally with water after their operation ended in 1980. Its name is due to the blue color of the water.

Built in 1855, the Maison du Port housed a café and a hotel, at a time when, thanks to the development of the port, it was frequented by seafarers.

On the edge of the Loire estuary, the small town of Savenay makes an excellent base camp for exploring the Brière regional natural park (PNR) which it borders. In its village, many shops offer catering and accommodation. Also, a railway station connects daily and several times a day the station of Nantes.

This beautiful residence, which currently houses a crêperie, served as a model for the Maison dans la Loire, a work that can be seen in Couëron. The small port in question, once very busy, appears quiet but is not lacking in charm. A beautiful path, suitable for mountain biking or gravel bikes, follows the Syl River to the hamlet of Pavillon.

Three old granite quarries, abandoned in 1980, which naturally filled with water to form beautiful blue ponds, popular with fishermen. Many of the cobblestones of Nantes and Nazaire streets come from this place.
