This old building is the ruin of an old spinning mill which produced wool in the 1860s. It only had a short life as the spinning mill ceased to operate in the 1870s. It was demolished and the stones were used for the construction of the Château de Rosnay, located nearby.

Legendary megalithic block, located above a very old path, it is undoubtedly related to the other standing stones that can be seen in the slopes of the path, but its dominant position has undoubtedly given it a special status. .

Huge block placed in the river, its probably druidic origin gives it a wonderful character conducive to many legends. Rabelais made it the scene of an adventure of his famous giant Gargantua: this one would have improvised a game of shuffleboard with Lucifer, whose goal was Roussière. La Pierre de Nauline, puck of Gargantua, would be the witness of his victory!

In the same commune, garaches were recognized to be young ladies from England or Tours after they had been killed. The garache is, in the folklore of Poitou, a woman who turns into a female werewolf during the night, for a longer or shorter time depending on the seriousness of a crime committed in her human form.
