Quiet country roads lead to this small cemetery for approximately 630 British soldiers who died in WWII.

Bazenville British War Cemetery is a World War II military cemetery that was established just two days after the Gold Beach landings. It contains 979 graves, mainly those of the British 69th Infantry Brigade, but also 21 Canadian graves, 1 Polish grave, 1 Australian grave and 326 German graves.
