small hike of 7kms possible departure from the campsite. Passage by the top of mortain direction Gers (gr yellow/red) then descent on cycle track direction neufbourg then passage by the small waterfall and the needle.

From here, the view is breathtaking and, in good weather, you can even see Mont St-Michel. A reward worthy of the name halfway through.

Unlike its big sister, the Petite Cascade de Mortain is, as its name suggests, much smaller. It is a tufa waterfall and is a very attractive place to spend time. The high rock walls on the sides give the place a certain majesty.
