Camping Municipal - in France, these are the municipal/city campsites that offer a certain standard at reasonable prices. "Supervised swimming in summer. Campsite, equipped and accessible for disabled people. 135 pitches with electrical connection, kotas, pods, campétoile and tipis are available. Many hikes through forest and field paths, bike tours, fishing, and water sports activities (sailing, canoeing, ..) possible nearby. Tourist information available. Beautiful campsite with a new washhouse right on the lake. Net reception. The lake has a sandy beach, the water is clear and clean. Lots of activity in summer. Reservations recommended.

“There are pictures that say “swimming is forbidden” because of danger to life. Does anyone know more??” Locals haven't noticed the signs yet. I recently asked the question to someone I met there.

the beach marked here is NOT public but private (club, Paddelclub Illingen). Entering is tolerated at most. If you want to sunbathe or swim here, you run the risk of being sent away.
