This tower in Pouilly-sur-Loire serves as a tourist information center, but also represents the region's wines. You can take a tour to learn about winemaking in Pouilly and experience the difference between Pouilly-sur-Loire and Pouilly Fumé wines, and taste the wines at a small wine tasting held on-site.

We wanted to visit the church, but everything was closed. Such a shame.

Very nice starting point to explore Nevers or Sancerre.

You have to get the idea first. A visit is worthwhile.

It's not an exceptional site but pretty all the same, however we were very disappointed by the rest of the route. The countryside is not great in this part of France, there are a lot of cars on the roads.

The viaduct that connects Saint-Germain-du-Puy and Cosne is quite impressive. When you pass underneath it along the greenway, you'll realize the scale of the construction.

A lovely little farm along the Loire, ideal for a short break. You can admire many animals (llamas, peacocks, ornamental chickens, pigs, yaks, sheep, etc.), and also have a drink or a meal there.
