9월 4, 2025, Pont de Moret-sur-Loing
The former fortress and picturesque medieval town of Moret-sur-Loing lies on the edge of the Fontainebleau Forest and the peacefully flowing Loing River. This postcard-perfect town is indeed extremely photogenic. The most beautiful views are from the old bridge or from the right bank of the Loing.

"Built by King Louis IX in 998 as a simple hunting lodge in the heart of the "Ile de France," Fontainebleau soon fell into obscurity. It wasn't until Francis I discovered his love for Fontainebleau and elevated it to a royal residence that the palace's true history began, as the ancestral home of the French kings. Henry IV had the complex expanded, and under Napoleon I, the building was extensively restored as the first imperial residence." With these words, a text on the media library's website introduces a 15-minute film (in German) about the UNESCO World Heritage Site. 11월 28, 2024, Croix du Calvaire
The origins of this impressive wayside cross are said to date back to the 17th century. Since then, it has been destroyed several times - including during the French Revolution - but has been rebuilt again and again. The crossing, i.e. the intersection of the longitudinal and transverse beams of the cross, is designed as a closed circle, and the transverse beam bears the inscription "Croix de Calvaire". The name refers to Calvary, in memory of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Golgotha (this Aramaic word means - like the Latin word Calvaire - "place of skulls") near Jerusalem.

At the Château de Fontainebleau, the Cascades basin serves as a visual transition between the different levels of the French garden. An essential element during your stroll in the park.

The Moret-sur-Loing Bridge, with its elegant arches, provides a picturesque setting in the heart of this historic village. Spanning the River Loing, this medieval bridge offers magnificent views of the clear waters, mills and old houses with tiled roofs. The bucolic charm of Moret-sur-Loing makes it an ideal place for a romantic stroll or a contemplative break.

The Château de Fontainebleau, located about 60 kilometers from Paris, is a jewel of French architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century, it was the favorite residence of many French kings and emperors. You can visit the magnificent state rooms, the richly decorated royal apartments and the formal gardens.

The cave of the oath is quite surprising, especially because the vault is made of a single rock. The letters D.F.D were engraved on the cave by Denecourt himself and mean "Last Madness Denecourt".
