With the patronage of "John the Baptist", this parish has chosen a saint who is considered a forerunner of Jesus Christ. In Christian theology, he is the voice of the voice prophesied in the Old Testament book of Isaiah: "A voice calls out: In the desert prepare the way for the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God!" (Luther Bible).
