The hike from the village of Saint Auban to the highest point is quite challenging, and I don't recommend it for families with young children. You shouldn't be afraid of heights. Also note that the route ends on a departmental road with no pedestrian crossing for about 800 meters.

Near this beautiful village you will find two curiosities: on the one hand the Castellaras de Thorenc, which are the ruins of the old medieval village of the 12th century, and on the other hand the biological reserve of Haut-Thorenc, which shelters European bison.

Almost out of nowhere you can reach this small but fascinating gorge from the south. Noteworthy is the chapel built into a grotto. You can go canyoning in the stream next to the road. Coming from the south you can also park in front of the gorge if you are driving there
