The Col du Buis, culminating at 1196 m, was a mule pass which was paved in the early 2000s and it must be believed that the DDE services did not look for an alternative to soften the slope, especially on the North side. from the hamlets of la Serre and les Venières. Because the pass simply displays an average of 10.6% over almost 4km, with ramps climbing to 17-18%! As much to say to you that you will pass the 4kms which will appear among the longest of your life... It is a really hard climb, which offers little respite. It is difficult to appreciate the landscape of this small wild pass. This is probably the reason why everyone only takes the picture once they have reached the top...

With its 1,712 m altitude, the Lachen mountain is the highest point in the Var department. From this summit, the peaks of Corsica are visible on a clear day. To the north of this peak begin the mountains of the Alps.

This pretty waterfall falls from a great height. The walls are indeed quite steep. It all depends on the flow of the river. If the rainfall is substantial the days preceding your visit, expect to take beautiful photos. In any case, you will enjoy the freshness of the place.

The perfect opportunity on a hot day to take a break from your run and cool off under the waterfall or in the crystal clear pool below.

At 1553m, Mont Thiey is a place of calm and silence. Its plateau at the top gives the impression of being in a field, but if one looks south, one is greeted by a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean coastline and the sea.

We are on the French Riviera and so, of course, the water under this waterfall is crystal clear. The waterfall dwindles to a trickle in the height of summer, but you'll be sure to find a spot to take a dip.
