The Saut du Chien waterfall is in fact a succession of waterfalls hurtling down a rocky chaos, one of the rocks of which is surmounted by a stone in the shape of a dog's head.
The Château de Valon has watched over the Truyère gorges since the 11th century but suffered after the Revolution, when it was abandoned and used as a stone quarry (like many other châteaux).
Pretty lake of Saint-Gervais, which can be circumnavigated by a 2.5 kilometer path. On the banks, there are picnic tables in the shade, a supervised swimming area in summer and a children's playground.
In the village there are shops directly on the way. At the church is a nice rest area with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The visit to the church is always worthwhile.
