In addition to easy climbing sections, beautiful paths repeatedly lead to the lakes. The atmosphere and tranquility are indescribable. This lake is particularly beautifully nestled among the rocks and, depending on the position of the sun, glows a deep blue.

The Gotthard Pass is harsh and unpredictable: sun, fog, rain, and snow alternate every minute, and wind and rock demand respect. For centuries, pack animals hauled their goods across the Tremola, making it the key between north and south—a place steeped in history and myth. Yet, between barren ridges, clear lakes, and golden evening light, it reveals a beauty that arises precisely from its harshness.
