The Arthanolatze culminates at 1,531 meters above sea level. It forms a unique belvedere that offers spectacular views of Soule and Basse-Navare in the Basque Country.

The Pic des Escaliers opens up a beautiful panorama of Soule and Basse-Navarre. A path on a broad ridge joins the Arthanolatze. It offers spectacular views: on one side the immense Iraty forest and on the other the Orhy peak, the first 2,000 meters of the Pyrenees.

The Pic des Escaliers opens up a beautiful panorama of Soule and Lower Navarre. A path on a wide ridge joins the Arthanolatze. It offers spectacular views: on one side the immense forest of Iraty and on the other the peak of Orhy, the first 2000 meters of the Pyrenean chain.

The Haritzarte pass is just below the ridge of the same name. Located between the Col d'Ergutze and the Pic de Béhorléguy, it offers a magnificent panorama of the Basque Country, including the crests of Iparla that can be seen in the distance.

The peak of Béhorléguy culminates at 1,265 meters above sea level on a beautiful rocky ridge. Superb panorama of the Basque Country, its peaks and the Atlantic coast on a sunny day.

Very nice climb from Tardets with some rather severe steep slopes. About 7km of climb on a fairly narrow road at 8/10% with passages at 16 or 18%. The coating is not bad at all even if the end is covered with sheep droppings :) The landscape is absolutely magnificent, a 360 degree panorama over Béarn, the Basque country, the peaks of Anie, the Midi d'Ossau, the plain of Pau and even the ocean on a clear day.
